The next time you launch Diablo III, you'll be greeted with a pop-up screen letting you know your launcher is about to be updated to It shouldn't take too long, but keep in mind you may need to click a Restart Now button at some point during the installation process.
When you see the login prompt, enter your account information, and click Log In. Click Play from the app's Diablo III screen to get back into the game at any time (you won’t have to log in again), or launch the game from your desktop as usual.
Gamers can also use the app’s game pages to check out the latest Blizzard news, too.
As it happens with any software, the app stops working from time to time due to various issues.
Make sure there is no steelseries software running (task manager uninstall do this to all the old drivers), also uninstall your steelseries mouse/keyboard (I was able to tell my two mice apart because my spare had power saving settings, but the steelseries did not (as it was not fully functional), also, old mice will be grayed out, connected ones will not be) 4.
Turn the computer off, then plug in the mouse/keyboard 5. Let windows do its thing for a little while with the drivers (it will probably fail, mine did) 7.
Again, this guide may be useless to a lot of people, but if even one person can save themselves the 2.5 hours of troubleshooting I had to go through, then it is worth it.
How much data you'll need to download depends on how much background-downloading you've done already.
I had the issue with my steelseries sensei, but this should work for any peripheral.
Note: I did all of these things, and I am not 100% sure if any of these are not needed.
The default directory for these files is: C:\Program Files\Steel Series\Steel Series Engine 3 Then change the type of port your device is plugged into.
For example: if your device is using a USB 3.0 port try a 2.0 port and vice versa.
